Mentoring Program

What is the BACKUP for Life Mentoring Program?

The BACKUP for Life Mentors Program will consist of former officers and immediate family members who volunteer to take on this role. A Mentor is an experienced and trusted advisor with lived experience.

Mentor Ambassador Hon Troy Grant

On the 14th of November 2016 the Honourable Troy Grant was named as the BACKUP for Life Mentor Ambassador. “I urge all former Police Officers and their families who need help to contact NSW Police Legacy’s BACKUP for Life Program. The Program offers great support to injured officers and their loved ones with coordinated programs. Many former officers carry the physical and mental scars from their service to the community and we owe it to them and their families to ensure they get the help they need”. Hon. Troy Grant.
