A. No, NSW Police Legacy is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity. As a Company we are governed by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission and as a registered charity we follow the rules and regulations of the Department of Gaming and Racing (Office of Charities).

Q. Are there other Police Legacies?

A. Yes, there are Police Legacy organisations in Victoria , Queensland , South Australia , Western Australia and Northern Territory . Each Police Legacy cares for Widows, Widowers and children of fallen Police Officers in their respective jurisdictions/state.

Q. Is NSW Police Legacy government funded?

A. No, NSW Police Legacy relies solely of salary deductions from serving officers and donations from companies and individuals in the community.
