National Police Legacy Day

We’re thrilled to have you with us for the start of a new tradition: 17 June 2025 is the first National Police Legacy Day. Police Legacies have been supporting Police Families across Australia for 54 years, and now we are coming together nationally to honour this legacy of care. On 17 June this year - and all years going forward - we will honour all police who serve our community, and the families who uphold their memory with strength and pride.

In June, the Taree Police Station opened its newly-refurbished doors. The upgraded facilities are a real boost to the community, and leading proudly up to the new station is the NSW Police Legacy Walk. We’re thrilled to be a part of this, and equally thrilled that there will soon be another station with a Police Legacy Walk.
