We’re thrilled to have you with us for the start of a new tradition: 17 June 2025 will be the first National Police Legacy Day. Police Legacies have been supporting Police Families across Australia for 54 years, and now we are coming together nationally to honour this legacy of care. On 17 June this year - and all years going forward - we will honour all police who serve our community, and the families who uphold their memory with strength and pride.

National Police Remembrance Day 2024

On September 27, at the NSW Police Wall of Remembrance, and all around the nation, National Police Remembrance Day was celebrated. Before the ceremony, our Chair Det Supt Donna McCarthy held a private Touchtone Ceremony, where members of the Zucchetti, Burns, and Schell families were presented with the Touchstones of their loved one.

On 11 October at Hornsby RSL, our truly dedicated police boxers gave it their all as they jumped into the ring to raise money for the Police Family through the Police Boxing event.
Remembrance Bike Ride 2024

In the grandest of traditions, the Remembrance Bike Ride kicked off before dawn on 6 September outside the Art Gallery of NSW. Our intrepid band of cyclists rolled into the darkness, spurred on by caffeine, the watching camera of Channel 9 News, and the genuine desire to spend three days on the road to raise funds and awareness for our Police Family.
Wall to Wall 2024

The Wall to Wall Ride got off to a chilly but fine start on the morning of 14 September, with hundreds of motorcyclists riding out from the Police Wall of Remembrance in The Domain to the National Police Memorial in Canberra.
