National Police Legacy Day

We’re thrilled to have you with us for the start of a new tradition: 17 June 2025 is the first National Police Legacy Day. Police Legacies have been supporting Police Families across Australia for 54 years, and now we are coming together nationally to honour this legacy of care. On 17 June this year - and all years going forward - we will honour all police who serve our community, and the families who uphold their memory with strength and pride.

Defensive Driver

In April we again held the Defensive Driver night for young Police Legatees wanting to improve their driving skills and knowledge. Driving Solutions and Beat the Blue once more came to the party to provide this fantastic program at Sydney Motorsport Park, really showing their commitment to increased road safety.

Earlier this year we were honoured to meet Michelle Pintley, daughter of the late Valerie Jean Cullen, who died in July 2023. She came into our office to formally present us with a bequest of $20,000 from her mother.

December’s inaugural Family Camp was wonderful. Around 130 Legatees, staff, and board members camped at Glenworth Valley, with Legatees from 1-78-years-old taking part.
