On Wednesday 24 July we held our final in-person Champions' Conference for the year at the Newcastle Police Station. It was an excellent and energising day, full of truly engaged Champions of Police Legacy bringing their ideas and enthusiasm to the table. With a combination of 'veteran' Champions and those who had been in the position for just a couple of days, the one common factor was the desire to make life better for our Police Legatees.
We have relished this opportunity to get out of the office and connect with some of our Champions around the state, and we have plans for a bigger and better Champions’ Conference in 2025. It’s always so heartening to see how many people are ready to step up and support our Police Family.
