Legs for Police Legacy

December 2022

Our heads are still spinning after the enormous success of community fundraiser Legs for Police Legacy, a 24-hour spin bike challenge that raised over $17,000 for the Police Family! Held at PCYC Belmore the event really was an all-community affair, with food, drink, raffles, auctions, kids’ activities, puppies, clowns… and, of course, dedicated cyclists riding their hearts out!

Organised (and ridden) by police officers at the Campsie Police Area Command, special guests included keen cyclists Deputy Commissioner Mal Lanyon and Raff Del Vecchio, as well as Commissioner Karen Webb herself, who rode the team home on Monday morning.

It was a truly sensational effort by everyone concerned, and we want to sincerely thank all of the many people and organisations who were so kind and generous in their support. We love your Legs!
