December 2019
On a moody night at the end of November at Norths Cammeray we had an absolutely incredible night of boxing. After all their training and all the hard work, the payoff for these dedicated officers was 3-rounds in the ring, in front of a boisterous and supportive crowd.
All the fights were watched with excitement, but there was no denying the electricity in the air when the first of the Australian Federal Police Vs NSW Police Force fights was called. All the officers fought hard and well, but in the end the NSW Police Force took the unofficial crown 3 bouts to 2. (Are we a little biased and a little bit pleased that it went that way? Perhaps :D )

Thank you to all our brave NSW Police Force and Australian Federal Police officers who worked so hard and gave so much, in and out of the ring - thanks to their efforts we've raised nearly $75k, and the fundraising page is still open if you'd like to show your support.
Thank you also to all the behind-the-scenes people who make it all happen, year after year - the NSW Police Boxing committee and the staff and volunteers from PCYC NSW and NSW Police Legacy. And finally, thanks to our corporate partners, Police Bank and Police Association NSW, and our event supporters Shaw and Partners, Public Service Association of NSW, NORTHS, and Carroll & O'Dea Lawyers. As our Chair Det Supt Gary Merryweather is fond of saying, "We give a lot of love, but we can't run on it." The financial support is absolutely invaluable for us to continue to support our Police Family.
