December 2019
"The time has come for me move on from the organisation after an amazing six years. I am moving on to a new role with Girl Guides Australia's national office and though I am excited about a new challenge I will miss everyone at Police Legacy. When I started with the organisation back in September 2013 I could never have imagined how much of an impact getting to know everyone involved would have on me. It has been an honour to get to know so many amazing people, often during one of the toughest times in their lives. I get emotional thinking of all the beautiful conversations about loved ones who have passed on, the big hugs, the tears, the laughter, the inspirational stories, the hope and the community. It is a very special organisation and I leave knowing it will just continue to get better and better. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers for your commitment over the years, you are inspirational. Thank you to the amazing legatees, families, and parents’ network who always made me feel welcome and trusted me with your stories about your special people who have passed on. It has been a privilege. I am lucky to have met each and every person I have through NSW Police Legacy and I wish you all so much health and happiness. Mind yourselves."
